Parent Survey Results 2011
The annual Casterbridge Parent Survey was carried out in July to enable us to understand from our parents what we are doing well and what we can improve upon.
To summarise the findings 94% of parents were satisfied with the nursery, parents love the environment (84% agree), the quality of the resources (100% agree), the food is healthy and nutritious (81% agree) and our preschool is excellent preparation for school (87% agree,) with the children being well stimulated (100% agree). Parents said we can improve upon our verbal feedback and our administration, we are committed to working on these areas.
Quotes from the Parents Survey:
‘Our daughter seems to be happy and enjoys her day at the nursery. Caring and competent staff, good food. Staff are friendly and approachable. Environment is clean and stimulating.’
‘I am very happy with the service given at Head Start and my son is extremely happy there. He is always excited and willing to get out of the car.’
‘Children seem to be very active and stimulated. The large garden is definitely a positive point. I like the fact that the staff seem more varied than at other nurseries I visited i.e. male as well as female staff and different age groups.’
‘My child has special requirements which are dealt with sensitively and effectively by all staff, which means I can leave my child at the nursery with complete confidence.’
‘My children have very much enjoyed being at Head Start. The garden area is a real advantage and is well used. Staff give the impression of really caring for the children and work very hard.’
‘My child is always extremely happy to attend nursery, barely giving me a backward glance when she enters the room. This to me suggests she is happy and comfortable. The feel of the nursery is very personable and I feel at ease talking to management and staff about anything.’
