Extra-curricular Activities
Head Start staff are very please to announce some new extra-curricular activities for children attending the nursery.
Amy Heron gets the children (from babies right up to preschool) singing and dancing on Monday afternoons with her fantastic music and instrument sessions. On Fridays the guys from Stretch Activities take the older groups out into the garden for some football and fun exercises. On Wednesday it's Jane's turn to do some click it work with the 3+ age group; mouse and computer skills are learned as the children have a 1:1 session. Then on Tuesdays the babies (and staff) practise some Yoga with Annabel from Stretch Yoga. This is all additional to the wonderful stuff staff plan and carry out as part of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. What lucky children!
